College: Southwestern Louisiana

Acquired: Gamblers' 21st pick in the 1984 USFL open draft. Selected in the 17th round (356th player chosen overall)

Pro Bio: (1984 season) Saw action in 14 games, starting at receiver in one versus the Federals... Caught a single pass for a 63 yard touchdown in the first game he played in at Michigan in week 5... His best game in 1984 was agaisnt the Federals, where he had three receptions for 93 yards and a TD... Voted Second-Team All-USFL kickoff returner by the league's writers and broadcasters... Returned the opening kickoff for 94 yards and a TD against Jacksonville... Paced the Western Conference in the kickoff return category with a 25.7 yard average, second best in the USFL... His 94 yard return is second longest in league history.

College Bio: Leading USL receiver in 1982 despite missing final two games with a broken collarbone... Had 20 catches for 466 yards and a 23.3 yard average... Had five touchdown receptions... Set school record for most yards receiving in a game with 164 yards on just three receptions... Ended the 1982 season as the nation's sixth-leading kickoff returner with 12 runbacks for 315 yards and a 26.3 average... Ranked second on USL team in scoring with 36 points... Cajun's top receiver and kickoff returner in 1983, when he caught 30 passes for 396 yards and two TDs, and ran back 20 kickoffs for 442 yards (22.1 yard average).

Personal: Three-year letterman in football and track at South Terrabonne High School... Selected team's Most Valuable Offensive Player three straight seasons... Two-year All-Regional and one-year All-State sprinter.
