Acquired: Signed by the Gamblers on Oct. 10, 1984

Pro Bio: Appeared in a total of 24 games for the Kansas City Chiefs during the 1982 and 1983 seasons... Started three games for the Chiefs in 1983... Intercepted four passes with 117 return yards in 1983, including a 42-yard interception return for a touchdown versus the Giants... Other interceptions were versus the Dolphins, Raiders and Chargers... Tallied 41 tackles in 1983, and returned three kickoffs for 36 yards... Was the Chiefs' sixth-round draft choice in 1982 and played in nine games as a rookie... Recorded his first pro interception against Richard Todd and the Jets, with a 17-yard return in 1982... Also returned two kickoffs for 25 yards.

College Bio: Named first-team college division All-American by the A.P. and coaches as a senior in 1981... Recorded 162 total tackles in 37 games for the Javalinas... Holds the school record for interceptions in a single season with 10 in 1980, and is the co-holder of the career interception mark of 21... Was Honorable Mention All-American as a junior... Named to All-Lone Star Conference first team his junior and senior seasons... Three-year starter and four-year letterman at Texas A&I.

Personal: Played football, baseball and basketball at South Oak Cliff High School in Dallas, where he was All-District and All-Metro... Has one brother and three sisters... Hobbies include basketball and traveling.
