Acquired: Selected by the Gamblers in the 12th round of the USFL Expansion Draft, September 6, 1983

Pro Bio: Important linebacker and special teams player during both Gambler seasons... Started the first six of the Gamblers 18 regular season games... Also competed in the remaining 12 and finished the year with 40 solo tackles, 19 assists and one quarterback sack... His tackle total was third on the team among linebackers, behind Kiki DeAyala and Andy Hawkins... Best games of the campaign were at Tampa Bay (6 solo tackles), Michigan (5 tackles, 3 assists) and Memphis (5 tackles)... His quarterback sack was registered in San Antonio...

Originally drafted in the 11th round of the 1982 NFL Draft by the Chicago Bears... Played in 17 games for the Michigan Panthers in 1983... Injured for three games in 1983 from April 23 through May 7... Made 14 tackles (6 solo), deflected one pass and had one fumble recovery... Played in the 1983 USFL Championship Game, won by Michigan 24-22.

College Bio: Four-year letterman (1978-1982) for the Cowboys at Oklahoma State... Played under former Michigan Panthers Coach Jim Stanley at OSU and as a professional in 1983 at Michigan... Team Captain... Competed in the 1982 Hula and Japan Bowls... Second team All-American linebacker in 1981 and 1982... Voted Big Eight Defensive Player of the Year in 1980... All-Big Eight selection from 1980-1982... Went back to OSU as a graduate assistant coach in 1982.

Personal: Lettered four years in football and three years in track at Bloom Trail High School in Chicago Heights... Business management major at OSU... Enjoys shooting pool, playing ping pong and fishing.
