Acquired: Selected by the Gamblers in the 1984 USFL Territorial Draft, and was signed on Jan. 26, 1984

Pro Bio (1984): Was the Gamblers' first territorial pick to sign... Started every game of the 1984 season and was voted second-team All-USFL wide receiver by the league's writers and broadcasters... His 101 receptions as a rookie is an all-time pro football milestone... 1.378 yards gained receiving is second best all-time... Finished as the team's and league's number two receiver behind Richard Johnson... The Gamblers became the first team in pro football history to have two players catch 100 passes and gain 1,000 yards in a single season... Twice caught ten passes in a game in 1984... Season best was eight catches for 227 yards in Pittsburgh... Had two TD receptions at Michigan... Rushed 10 times for 58 yards in 1984, and also returned punts and kickoffs.

College Bio: Southwest Texas' leading scorer in 1983... Played in ten games, and rushed 141 times for 706 yards and nine touchdowns... Was also the Bobcats' third-leading receiver with 14 catches for 210 yards and one TD... Also the club's top punt returner, with 14 returns for 166 yards... Finished as Bobcats' number three career rusher... Ranked number five in LSC rushing in 1982 with 878 yards on 151 carries (5.8 yard avg)... MVP of the 1982 Palm Bowl with 104 yards gained on 25 carries with two TDs... Second team All-LSC in 1982... Team Captain.

Personal: Lettered three years in football at Belton High School... Also a track competitor in high school... Qualified for state meet in pole vault, hurdles and long jump... Physical education major at SWTSU.
