Acquired: Signed as a free agent in 1984

Pro Bio: (1984 season) Played in 14 games during the 1984 season, and started at cornerback against the Blitz in week 3... Was also involved with special teams, returning six kickoffs for 106 yards... Logged an interception against the Oklahoma Outlaws in week 6.

Original 6th round draft pick of the Cincinnati Bengals in the 1980 NFL draft... Competed for the Bengals in 1980 before being released... Joined the Philadelphia Eagles in 1981 and played with them briefly... Began a two-year career in the Canadian Football League in 1982 when he started for the Toronto Argonauts... Appearing in 15 games for the Argonauts in 1982 he recovered one fumble and led the defense with six interceptions... Also a punt and kick returner for Toronto... Ran back 23 kickoffs for 512 yards... Traded to the B.C. Lions in April of 1983... Lions' starting right cornerback in 1983, and in 14 games he intercepted five passes (one for a TD), had one quarterback sack and four fumble recoveries, including one for a touchdown... As a punt returner he returned 34 punts for 305 yards in 1983... Excellent special teams player who has great instincts for the game.

College Bio: Four-year letterman at Pitt from 1976-1979... Played halfback before moving to cornerback... Intercepted three passes in 1978 for 90 yards and four in 1979 for 64 yards... Made 114 career tackles... Returned 20 punts as a sophmore for 220 yards and one TD, and was ranked 12th in the nation that year... Logged 35 punt returns for 201 yards as a junior... Team captain his senior year... In final year he fielded 38 punt returns for 213 yards and ran back eight kickoffs for 178 yards.

Personal (1984): Holds a black belt in karate... Teaches the martial arts and plans to open his own school... Bodyguard in the off-season for Liza Minelli and other entertainers.
